Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today presided over a Cabinet meeting in which several crucial decisions were taken and approved.
Transfer policy 2017 approved
Transfers of State Government employees will take place from 11 July to 31 July 2017. Any State Government employee is posted at the same place for more than two years only will be transferred. The transfer orders will be passed only with the consent of the Department Minister. There will be ban on transfers from 1 August 2017. If there is any need for cancellation of transfer orders it will be done only after due considerations and merits of the case. Transfers of Class -1 and Class-11 category staff will be subject to a maximum of 15 per cent of the total staff, maximum of 10 per cent for Class-III category and 05 per cent of Class-IV category staff.
Agriculture and Food Processing Industry policy Mandi Tax waiver
The Mandi Tax is waived on raw materials purchased by the Agriculture and Food Processing Industry from the date of purchase till 05 years. It is equal to the 75 per cent investment of the food processing industry. The State Cabinet approved the proposal to waive Mandi Tax in total on food processing industry purchased directly from the farmers/ units/ raw materials bought from outside state the date of purchase of raw till next five years.
Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Rules) 1965 amended
Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rules 1965 rule 22 sub-rule (4) states that every State Government employee will strictly follow Union Government and State Government family welfare rules/ guidelines -two children for a family-. The Rule was abrogated today and amended if one of the children is born on 26 January 2001 or thereafter.
Cabinet expresses gratitude to Centre for implementing GST
The Union Government had implemented Goods and Services Tax (GST) all over the country. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh presided over the State Cabinet Meeting which expressed its gratitude and thanked the Central Government for implementing the GST on 22 June 2017. Dr. Raman Singh mentioned that GST is the biggest economic reforms ever implemented since Independence. It is an example of national unity and economic liberty. GST is the result of close co-ordination of Centre, states and various political parties. Chief minister added that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in the Cabinet meeting on 22 June 2017 thanked all the State Governments, Chief Ministers , State Finance Ministers, all State-level political parties, MPs and MLAs, industry leaders and all sections of the society.
