Raipur, 22 June 2017
Due to
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh's compassionate gesture, Lavanya-
22-month-old daughter of Mrs. Kusum Bhoi will be able to avail medical
treatment in premium medical institute. Lavanya is suffering from heart
and lungs problem. Chief Minister had earlier sanctioned Rs 1.50 lakh
for her treatment under Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Suraksha Yojana, but
doctors of the hospital in which Lavanya was supposed to undergo
treatment told that the medical condition of Lavanya is very critical
and it could not be treated in that hospital. Even the doctors of major
hospitals in Raipur were of the similar opinion. Doctors told that
treatment of Lavanya's medical condition is expensive. Mrs. Kusum Bhoi
today met Chief Minister at Jandarshan and conveyed her grievance. Mrs.
Bhoi informed that her husband is a street vendor with an income that
hardly makes their both ends meet. Chief Minister listened to her
problems patiently and sanctioned financial aid from Sanjeevani Kosh for
treatment of Lavanya. Mrs. Bhoi thanked Chief Minister for the
financial aid. Mrs. Bhoi said that now she will be able to get the
treatment of her daughter done in a premium hospital. In the Jandarshan
programme toda, Chief Minister sanctioned financial aid from Sanjeevani
Koash to 22 patients suffering from critical diseases. On his order, 16
patients have been sent to Raipur based Ambedkar Hospital for free
treatment. At the stall put up by diabetic research society at
Jandarshan, 52 people availed the free diabetes test. 31 people got
their medical test done at the stall put up by medical college. Dr Singh
also sanctioned 12 construction works worth nearly Rs 45 lakh on
requests of various villagers, public representatives and delegations.
