Bhatgaon police chowki to get status of police station

Today as the mercury kept shooting upwards and most people preferred to stay cozy at home, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh continued with his intensive tour under Lok Suraaj Abhiyan. In the scorching afternoon today, Dr Singh reached village Jamgahan of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district district and attende the Lok Suraaj chaupal there. Chief Minister made several announcements after discussion with the villagers in chaupal. He also visited the house construction sites of two beneficiaries under Prime Minister Housing Scheme- Mrs. Gulshan Banjare and Mrs. Pramila Upendra. He congratulated both the beneficiaries for sanction of pucca houses to both of them. Dr Singh announced that the canal lining work of water reservoir will be started soon, high school building will be constructed in Jamgahan village and middle school of Salihaghat will be upgraded to high school. Bhatgaon police chowki will be upgraded to police station. Chief Minister also announced sanction of Rs 15 lakh for construction of cc-road in Jamgahan and two other gram panchayats. Dr Raman Singh informed in the Chaupal that State Government has banned the illegal supply and trade of liqour. Now there is no place of bootleggers in the villages. Chief Minister appealed people to extend support in making this decision of government a success.
