Modi ji got the public verdict of rescuing the country from trap of problems

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's decisions have created a luminous image of India. His decisions are in larger interest of public. The decision of election reforms and transperancy in funding of political parties will definitely lead the country towards better political system. Prime Minister has provided economic equanimity to the country with his decisions. Dr Raman Singh expressed these thoughts while addressing his monthly radio programme 'Raman Ke Goth' aired from Raipur Centre of Akashwani today morning. He said that the cleanliness model of Ambikapur is the role model and other cities should adopt this model too.
In his radio programme today, Dr Raman Singh said in reference to the completion for first three years of Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, on May 26, that earlier our country was stuck in the trap of socio-economic and development related problems. In general election of year 2014, Mr. Modi got the public verdict of rescuing the country from trap of problems and restoring the pride and honour of Mother India. Hard work and far-sighted vision of Mr. Modi has created an impactful image of the nation on the world. As per the sentiments of Constitution, states have been made members of Team India, and many decisions have been taken to strengthen cooperative federalism. Dr Raman Singh said that Mr. Modi has increased the States' revenue from 32% to 42% and has given them the right to spend it as per their resquirements.
GST Act to commence a new era of economic revolution
Mentioning about GST Act, Chief Minister said that- it is in compliance to the Constitution, resonating with the sentiment of cooperative federalism. To implement the 'One Nation, One Tax and One Market' system in the country, on initiative of Prime Minister Mr Modi, both the houses of parliament have passed GST Law and with that a new era of tax-reformations has begun in the country. States were members of the GST council formed for taking decision regarding GST. In addition, states' share in tax-revenue were also increased. Chief Minister talked in detail about the Prime Minister's decision of demonetization, surgical strike, zero-tolerance for terrorism, Prime Minister Jan-Dhan Scheme for poor people, Agriculture Irrigation Scheme for farmers, Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, Prime Minister Housing Scheme, Bheem App for cashless transactions, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana for self-employement, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for distribution of LPG gas connection to poor families, and also about campaigns such as Make-In-India, Digital India, Start-up India, Stand-up India.
Prime Minister's schemes touches lives of people belonging to every section of society
Dr Singh said- Prime Minister has implemented such schemes that none of the sections of society are untouched by its benefits. This is the reason why 'Sabke Sath Sabka Vikas' is our motto. On the occasion of centinary year of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, ot was decided that 'Lakshya Antyoday, Pran Antyoday-Path Antyoday' would be the guideline for government's policies and strategies. With strong will power of Mr. Modi, India has become the world's first country to demonetize 86% currency of the country. Demonetization has created an honest and patriotic environment, wherein hard working people are feeling secured and assured that government is valuing their honesty. Chief Minister said- as a result of demonetization, banks decreased the interest rate on house loans. It has also accelerated the progress in formation of cashless society.
No exam is the last exam of life, says Chief Minister to students
Chief Minister, in his radio programme today, congratulated the students who have successfully passed the 10th-12th board examinations and also encouraged the students, who failed to do so saying that instead of feeling disheartened about failing in examination or not getting the expected marks, one should rather work harder and prepare for the next exam. He said- I believe that no exam is the last exam of life. Life gives you many opportunities to prove your mettle. Dr Raman Singh was happy to see girls performing better in exam results of 23 out of 27 districts of state and said that this shows the promising results of government's efforts to promote girl education.
Adopt Ambikapur as Role Model for Cleanliness
Talking about the Clean India Mission of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Dr Raman Singh said that Prime Minister's Clean India Mission is transforming the face of villages and cities. In the cleanliness survey conducted by Central Government on national-level, Ambikapur city of Chhattisgarh was found to be the number one city of the country. Chief Minister said- people in Chhattisgarh had enthusiastically welcomed the Clean India Mission but the results of implementation were not satisfactory when compared to other states. Chief Minister asked the listeners about their opinion in the context. In this episode, Dr Raman Singh congratulated the people of Sarguja district headquarters Ambikapur and also the administration there, thanking them for glorifying the name of the state. He added that it is a huge achievement for Ambikapur to secure first place in the category of city with population of 2 lakh. I insist that other cities should consider Ambikapur as role model and learn from it. Dr Singh praised the teamwork of people in Ambikapur, door-to-door garbage collection by women member of Clean Ambikapur Cooperative Society, use of battery-operated and manual rickshaws, collection of 17 solid waste in different areas, collection of solid and liquid waste separately, payment to women member involved in this work as 'user charge', and the strategy of creating public awareness towards hygiene habits.
Cleanliness Survey a Mirror
Chief Minister said- Cleanliness Survey is a mirror that time-totime reflects us the groundreality of progress made by different states and the country as a whole towards the goal of creating Clean India. These surveys and rankings motivates us to work in a better manner by rectifying out shortcomings. Chief Minister said- there can be multiple reasons behind other cities not securing the top rankings. I believe that we are going through a process. We have aimed to make Chhattisgarh clean as per the standards of Cleanliness Mission by October 2018, against the national target of creating Clean India by 2019, and we are moving ahead in that direction.

Advises to stop wasting food in wedding-reception parties
In today's episode of 'Raman Ke Goth', Dr Raman Singh read a letter from listener Mr. Bhuvandas Jangade, resident of Sirsabandha of Bemetara district. The letter said- "Summer season is also a wedding season. I request you to talk about the unneccessary expenditure done on weddings these days, and appeal the parents, bride-groom, to spend minimum possible on such functions instead of making it too flashy. Water and food should not be wasted. Dowry should niether be given nor be taken. Mass Marriage should be encouraged." Chief Minister said after reading the letter that I agree with all the points mentioned by Mr. Jangade, which is why I chose to read the letter during the programme. I request the listeners to keep these points in mind, said Dr Singh.
