The State Public Works Department recently sanctioned laying of 17 rural roads at a cost of Rs Thirty crore 45 lakh in the fiscal 2017-2018 in Bilaspur district. Public Works Department Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat today said that the rural regions will get better network of roads in Bilaspur district. A road linking Saraipatera-Hardibandh - Urai Kachar (3.5 kilometre) will be laid at a cost of Rs One crore 50 lakh. Similarly, road linking Chechandih-Kodwa-Kanchanpur (2 Km) at a cost of Rs One crore 20 lakh and Turwari-Mohatara-Kurmi (2.5 km) will be laid at a cost of Rs One crore 50 lakh.
The PWD also will lay Bilaspur Mainroad-Patari Kampa road at a cost of One crore, Bandha -Dewarhata (2 kilometer) will be laid at a cost of Rs Two crore and Dewarhata-Aunwrabandha (2 kilometre) at a cost of Rs One crore 20 lakh.
Roads will be laid linking Pendri Talab-Ratipayara-Dhodhapara, Rapti-Gunapur, Jorapara- Araibandh, Jaroundha-Nayapara, Birgouna-Awaaspara, Baithalpur Madhku road expansion and upgradation.
