The State
Government had taken several steps to make H.I.V. infected patients
self-dependent. Health and Family Welfare Department and other various
departments had been working in co-ordination to impart training in
various trades according to their abilities. About 289 H.I.V. infected
patients had been imparted training in sewing, computers, carpentry,
beauty parlour and other trades. It may be mentioned here that Health
and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar had instructed the
officials to give training to H.I.V. infected persons to make them
self-dependent. Director of National Health Mission Mr. R.Prasanna today
said that since September 2016 the State had been imparting training to
H.I.V. persons and employing them according to their skills and areas
of interest.
