Important works sanctioned in the meeting of State CAMPA fund's executive committee : All the works announced by Chief Minister included

 In the meeting of CAMPA fund's state-level execution committee chaired Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand today at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan), proposals of various works worth nearly Rs 67 crores were approved for current fiscal year 2017-18. This mainly includes the announcements made by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on various occasions and other important works of state government. In the meeting, proposal worth Rs one crore 68 lakh was sanctioned for drinking water schemes in all the villages of Rajnandgaon district, Rs two crore 45 lakh for installation of solar water pumps in Baiga hamlets of Kabeerdham district, Rs 75 lakh for development works in Rajarao plateau area of Balod district, Rs 50 lakh for new pond development works in Farfaud village of Aarang block in Raipur district, Rs 10 crores for development works in 100 out of 431 villages converted from forest village to revenue village and proposal worth Rs 10 crore was approved for multi-tier plantation.
Nearly Rs 11 crore for Kosa Rally Promotions Camp, Rs seven crore for catchment area development in Kasdol block of Balodabazar district, Rs five crore for Lion Safari and Carnivore shifting in Naya Raipur based Jungle Safari, Rs five lakh for Sanctuary Education Committee Chhaparva under Achanakmar Tiger Reserve have been sanctioned in the meeting. In the meeting, it was decided that the funds for establishing oxy-forest in all the districts of state and plantation on riverbanks in Rajnandgaon district will be sanctioned from Hariyar Chhattisgarh funds.
In the meeting, compliance report of the decisions taken in the previous meeting of the executive committee was reviewed. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Mr. Ajay Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Mr. MK Raut, Principal Secretary Forest Mr. RP Mandal, Secretary Gramodyog Mrs. Niharika Barik, Secretary Forest Mr. Atul Kumar Shukla, Secretary Energy Mr. Ashish Bhatt, Secretary Housing and Environment Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Special Secretary Scheduled Caste and Tribe Development Mrs. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale, Principal Chief Conservator of Firest Mr. RK Tamta, Representative of Government of India's Forest and Environment Ministry Mr. Kanwaljeet Singh and other officers.
