Mr. Ajay Chandrakar appealed people of state to
donate blood

Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar will felicitate blood donors, in a programme to be
organized on the occasion of World Blood Donors Day on June 14. Mr. Chandrakar
told that blood donation doesn’t cause any weakness. Anyone of age 18-65 years
can donate blood. The blood donated by you may save somebody's life. He
appealed people of state to donate blood voluntarily. The programme will be
organized at new circuit house civil lines, and it will be attended by
Principal Secretary Health Department Mr. Subrat Sahu, Secretary Mr. Anil Sahu,
Commissioner Mr. R Prasanna and Director Health Services Mr. Narendra Shukla.
Health Commissioner Mr. Prasanna informed today
that in this programme, the people who voluntarily donate blood in camps organized
by health department and the social service organizations that promote blood
donation will be felicitated. Religious organization, voluntary organization,
industrial organization, social organization, special organizations that have
been promoting blood donation since last five years, men who have donated blood
for more than 100 times and women who have donated blood more than 25 times
will be felicitated. Similarly, people with negative blood group who have
donated blood for 25 times or more and youngster who has donated blood for 25
times or more will also be honoured.
