Commercial Tax office and camp to be open on 9-10 June

The State Government Commercial Department made elaborate arrangements to register as many businessmen as feasible in the GST portal by 15 June. The officials said that the offices, Help Desks and camps will be open to public even on holidays on 9-10 June. They said that deadline is only one week away for the registration in GST portal but only small number of traders have obtained their Application Reference Number (ARN). The registration process is affected as the phone number is not mentioned in Aadhaar card and the traders do not have DSC . The Department officials have called upon the businessmen to rectify and add phone numbers in their Adhaar cards or register the names after obtaining DSC. Registration in GST portal is mandatory even for those who have registered under Composition Scheme. Registration is compulsory even those who are registered under Luxury Tax.
The traders can get their provision Identity, password, PAN card, Aadhaar card with mobile number/DSC, copy of current registration , photograph, Bank account statement/ passbook, proof of address of business establishment, electricity bill, agreement copy.
