Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand today presided over a State-level Bankers' meet at Mantralaya (Mahanadi bHawan). He called upon the bankers to link the bank accounts to Aadhaar seeding and mobile numbers so that the beneficiaries of the various social welfare schemes are not inconvenienced and payments are not delayed. There should not be any delay in upgrading the bank accounts. He reviewed loans' process relating to Antyodaya Self-Employment Scheme, Adivasi Self-Employment Scheme, National Rural and Urban Livelihood Mission, Prime Minister Rojgaar Srujan Karylram, Prime Minister Housing Project and various other projects. He instructed the bank officials to provide adequate supply cash in the rural areas of the State and in particular Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes' regions.
