Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar yesterday
inaugurated Swami Atmananda Memorial Community Hospital in Paatan, primary
health centre in Charoda and new building of Sparsh Clinic in district hospital
Durg, in a programme held in Paatan area
of Durg district. These three buildings have been built at the cost of Rs two
crore 56 lakh. The programme was presided over by Ahiwara MLA Mr. Sawlaram
Dahre. Jila Panchayat President Mrs. Maya Belchandan, Jila Panchayat member and
Health Sub Committee Chairman Mr. Santosh Sahu, Nagar Panchayat President
Krishna Kumar Bhale, Janpad President Mrs. Harsha Chandrakar, along with
Director Health Services Mr. R Prasanna and Collector R Sangita were
prominently present in the programme.
As
Chief Guest of the occasion, Health Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar said that
government is conducting various health schemes, and people should come forward
to avail these schemes. He congratulated the doctors and paramedical employees
for the award conferred on Paatan Hospital for state-level renovation award. Mr.
Chandrakar admitted that the state has shortage of specialist doctors. State
Government is making constant efforts to bring such doctors to government
hospitals by giving them facilities. While presiding over the programme, MLA
Mr. Sanwala Ram Dahre informed about various health schemes of the state government.
CMHO Dr Prashant Shrivastav delivered welcome speech. BMO Mr. Sharma proposed
vote of thanks.
