60 candidates will be selected through P.E.T.

The All-India Technical Education Council (A.I.C.T.E.) New Delhi has given sanction to start B.E. courses during the current academic year (2017-2018) at the Raipur-based Central Plastic Engineering and Technology Institute (CIPET). The students in the State can pursue their Plastic Engineering course here itself. There are 60 seats in the current academic session. The candidates will be selected through the P.E.T. procedure. The institute is based at Bhanpuri. Diploma courses, Post-Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma, Graduation and Post-Graduate degree courses are conducted at the institute. Short-term courses in Skills' development also are held. It may be mentioned here that Central Plastic Engineering and Technology Institute was jointly inaugurated on 22 April last year by Union Minister Mr. Anant Kumar and Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh.
