Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr Raman Singh has extended hearty congratulationgs to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's government for successfully completing first three years and entering the fourth year of its tenure on May 26. On the eve of third anniversary of Modi Government, Dr Singh said in his congratulatory message that the historical public verdict in favour of Modi Ji during General Election 2014 was actually the public verdict to bring out the nation from trap of problems. He said- Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's decisions have enhanced the image of India. Modi Government's decision of maintaining transparency in funding of political parties and election reforms will lead the nation towards clean politics. Foreign policy of Modi Government has glorified name of India in the entire world.
Dr Singh said- As per the sentiments of Constitution, Prime Minister Mr. Modi included states in Team Inida and took effective step in the direction of strenghthening the cooperative federalism, by increasing the share of states in Centre's revenue from 32 to 42 per cent and also giving freedom to the states to spend as per their requirements. Dr Raman Singh mentioned about various decisions taken by Modi Government and said that GST Act has been passed in both the houses of parliament to implement one nation, one tax and on market. Decision of demonetization to tighten the noose on black money hoarders was the proof of Prime Minister's strong will power. Prime Minister has formulated and launched schemes considering the needs and demands of each and every section of society. This is the reason why 'Sabke Sath Sabka Vikas' is our motto. Chief Minister said- positive effects of Modi Government's public welfare policies and schemes is clearly visible in Chhattisgarh. In year 2016-17, the GDP has increased by seven per cent. Nearly 13 lakh 70 thousand farmers have been covered under Crop Insurance Scheme. Nearly Rs 3200 crore has been distributed as loans under Mudra Yojana to youngsters for their business ventures. Bank accounts of more than one crore poor people has been opened under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana. Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, nearly 11 lakh poor families have been provided free LPG connection. The network of roads in the country is constantly expanding.
In his congratulatory message, Dr Raman Singh also mentioned in detail about other Central Government's schemes such as Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and also praised the campaigns such as Make-in-India, Digital India, Start-up India, Stand-up India.
