1198 grievances settled at Seevni Samadhaan camp

Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal on Tuesday participated in the 'Samadhaan Shvir' at village Seevni development block Chura district Gariyabandh. Mr. Agrawal said that resolving the masses' grievances is real 'Lok Suraaj'. The State Government is keen on providing good governance at the doorstep of the villages.
The Minister added that Chief Minister Mr. Raman Singh's Government is the first Government which gives examination every year before the masses. Time has come for the farmers to increase their incomes by growing paddy, vegetables -fruits adopting animal husbandry. The agriculturists can increase their incomes by getting the soil tested and growing the crops accordingly. Mr. Agrawal said that State Government provides Rs 12 lakh assistance for cow rearing out of which Rs Six lakh is subsidy . Master plan to encourage organic farming is on the anvil. The farmers can increase their incomes and also improve their health.
The eight panchayats in the area received 1211 applications out of which 1198 grievances had been settled. The Minister called upon the officials to resolve the pending applications by 30 May. He called upon the field workers on the stage and enquired about the status of various problems in the surrounding regions. Minister Mr. Agrawal sanction Rs Five lakh each to lay roads at villages Seevni, Bharuvamuda and Kansinghi and Rs Five lakh for the construction of a community hall at village Devri.
Mr. Agrawal instructed the Public Health Engineering Department officials to install motors at the hand-pumps and construction of water tanks at village Seevni. He instructed the officials to sink tube-well at the anganwadi bhawan at Kharkhara within three days and resolve low-voltage electricity crisis at village Seherapaani. He called upon the officials to send master plan for solar energy-based drinking water system at the village.
