Rs 6.50 sanctioned for Gaurav Path

On the
concluding day of state-wide Lok Suraaj Abhiyan Chief Minister of
Chhattisgarh Dr Raman Singh attended the redressal camp helt at
Abhanpur block headquarters of Raipur district today. He announced
sanction of Rs 8 crore 52 lakh for new construction works of Abhanpur
block headquarters.
Chief
Minister appealed people of Abhanpur to actively participate in Clean
India Mission and expressed hope that the collective efforts will make
this Nagar Panchayat open defecation free (ODF) by Independence Day (15
August. Dr Singh said- under-construction extensive drinking-water
scheme worth nearly Rs 26 crore for Abhanpur city should be completed by
December 2017. He directed the officials concerned to complete the
construction work at war-footing. Dr Singh said that this scheme will
meet the drinking water needs of Abhanpur city till year 2030. Chief
Minister announced sanction of Rs 6 crore for construction of Gaurav
Path, Rs 20 lakh for JCB machine procurement, Rs 50 lakh for
construction of garden, and Rs 42 lakh for completing the construction
work of bus stand. He also announced sanction of Rs 10 lakh each for
construction of two muktidhams, Rs 12 lakh for post-mortem house, Rs
eight lakh for boundary wall construction in community health centre,
and Rs 40 lakh for construction of oxy-zone in ITI campus.
On the
occasion, Dr Raman Singh inspected the police station of Abhanpurm and
also took information about online FIR lodging facility. In the camp,
Chairman of State Finance Commission Mr. Chandrashekhar Sahu, State
Cooperative Bank (Apex Bank) Chairman Mr. Ashok Bajaj, MLA Mr. Dhanendra
Sahu, Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand, and other senior public
representatives were also present.
