Sanctions stop-dam, gram panchayat building, sub-health centre
Orders electrification of all villages and hamlets

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today sanctioned developmental works worth Rs 54 lakh at the 'Samadhaan Shivir' at village Basen development block Udayapur district Surguja. He allotted Rs 48 lakh for the construction of a Stop Dam at village Bakoi and Rs Six lakh for the construction of a Public Distribution System (PDS) building. Dr. Raman Singh boarded a helicopter at district Janjgir and made a surprise landing at village Basen to participate in the Samadhaan camp.
Chief Minister sanctioned a mini-stadium at Basen, Sub-Health Centre at Penderaki, gram panchayat bhawan, construction of additional rooms at primary school at village Parsa, hand-pump at Pandopara and two open wells under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme at village Bakoi.
Dr. Raman Singh called upon the officials to expedite electrification of all houses at Basen and Chakeri , Ghaatbarra villages. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Mr. T.S. Singhdeo was also present at the camp. Chief Minister enquired regarding the various complaints of the villagers and their redressal. Chief Secrtary Mr. Vivek Dhand and several panchayat representatives were also present.
