State
Government's Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana has benefitted nearly 5 lakh 72
thousand 682 children. It is noteworthy that Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana
was started on June 6, 2009 for providing the facility of medical check-up and
advice from expert pediatrician to the children suffering from critical
malnutrition and the ones in crisis. Under this scheme, two days of a month are
marked as 'Sandarbh Diwas' for each development block. Private hospitals have
the facility of health checkup worth up to Rs 300. Beneficiary under the scheme
is provided medicines of maximum Rs 500, and if required this upper-limit can
be extended. Under Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana, 14852 children were
benefitted in year 2009-10, 20376 in year 2010-11, 28000 in tear 2011-12,
125755 in year 2012-13, 62054 in year 2013-14,126751 in year 2014-15, 130425 in
year 2015-16, and 64469 children have been benefitted in year 2016-17 as on
November 2016.
