Raipur : One thousand 882 crore short term loans distributed to farmers in Chhattisgarh

Distribution of interest-free short-term agriculture loans for kharif crops through agriculture cooperative credit societies is underway in Chhattisgarh at an accelerated pace. Till July 7, 2017, short term loans worth nearly Rs one thousand 882 crore 99 lakh have been distributed to five lakh 43 thousand 93 farmers of state, which is around 59 per cent of the given target. State Government has set the target of distributing agriculture loans worth nearly Rs three thousand 200  crore to farmers in this kharif season. Cooperative societies are distributing the loans for kharif season since April 1, 2017.
Apex Bank Officials informed today that loans worth nearly Rs 86 crore 72 lakh have been distributed to farmers of Raipur district, loans worth Rs 38 crore 28 lakh to farmers of Gariaband district, Rs 133 crore 29 lakh to farmers of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, 96 crore 17 lakh to farmers of Mahasamund district, Rs 49 crore 12 lakh to farmers of Dhamtari district, Rs 143 crore 13 lakh to farmers of Durg district, Rs 188 crore to farmers of Balod district, Rs 181 crore 19 lakh to Bemetara district, Rs 204 crore 78 lakh to farmers of Rajnandgaon district, loans worth Rs 173 crore distributed to farmers of Kabeerdham district. Short term agriculture loans worth nearly Rs 85 crores have been distributed to farmers of Bilaspur district, Rs 60 crore to farmers of Mungeli district, Rs 140 crore 64 lakh to farmers of Janjgir-Champa district, Rs 26 crore 53 lakh to farmers of Korba district, Rs 69 crore 55 lakh to farmers of Jagdalpur district, Rs 31 crore 80 lakh to farmers of Kondagaon district, Rs 40 crore to farmers of Narayanpur district, Rs 61 crore to farmers of Kanker district, Rs 14 crore 42 lakh to farmers of Bijapur district, Rs 2 crore 25 lakh to Dantewada district, Rs 4 crore 86 lakh to farmers of Sukma district, loans worth Rs 23 crore 36 lakh to farmers of Sarguja district, Rs 14 crore 39 lakh to the farmers of Balrampur district, Rs 16 crore 86 lakh to the farmers of Surajpur district, Rs 6 crore 94 lakh to farmers of Koriya district, short-term agriculture loans worth nearly Rs 24 crore 56 lakh have been distributed to farmers of Raigarh district and those worth Rs four crore 22 lakh have been distributed to farmers of Jashpur district.
