Chief
Minister Dr Raman Singh said- We should learn as many languages as
possible, but we should never forget that speaking English is not the
only sign of intelligence. In foreign countries, even the waiters and
butlers speak in English. Chief Minister expressed these thoughts while
addressing the students of Prayas Residential Schools, who have been
selected in IIT and NIT, in a felicitation programme organized at his
residence. He said- these children from remote naxal-affected tribal
populated areas of state have made this achievement amid the difficult
circumstances. I wish these talented youngsters may lead in every aspect
of their lives. Dr Raman Singh said- English language is necessary for
technical education, but we should never forget to regard out national
language Hindi and our mother-tongue. Mentioning about his recent tour
to South Korea and Japan, Dr Singh said that he found people talking in
their native languages. I also delivered speeches in programmes of both
the countries in Hindi language and I am proud of that.
