In
present era, Yoga has become even more relevant and important. Yoga
largely contributes to the physical and mental development of a person.
This is the reason why one doesn’t have to look at Yoga from any other
perspective, State-level seven-day yoga fest, jointly organized by
Chhattisgarh National Service Scheme and Higher Education Department at
Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, was inaugurated on June 15. In
this camp, nearly 400 students of school, colleges, technical colleges
and schools are participating. This Yoga training is being provided by
the experts of Patanjali Yoga Peeth.
In
the fifth day of this yoga fest today, students were trained in
meditation. In the technical session, all five groups of the trainees
were educated about the technical production of mushroom, composting,
handmade paper, beverages with juicy fruits etc. Students were taken on
tour to important labs of the universities. In the camp, students were
also informed about the English speaking course. It is noteworthy that
this Yoga fest was inaugurated by Higher Education Minister Mr. Prem
Prakash Pandey on June 15. Third Yoga Day will be observed across the
world on June 21.
