Square in Naya Raipur to be named in the memory of this 'Mahotsav'

Chief
Minister Dr Raman Singh attended the 'Sanyam Swarna Mahotsav' organized
at Chandragiri Jain pilgrimage spot in Dongargarh area of Rajnandgaon
district. On the occasion, Union Minister Mr. Rajeev Pratap Rudi also
accompanied Chief Minister. In the event organized on completion of 50
years of Jain Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj attaining 'Deeksha', Dr
Raman Singh took blessings for peace prosperity and progress of state
and the nation from Acharya ji. On the occasion, Chief Minister said in
his address to the saints present in the event that the 50 difficult
years of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji was for human welfare and humanity.
This 'Mahotsav' gives inspiration to keep the ancient tradition of
saints alive. While offering regards to Acharye Shi Vidyasagar Ji, Dr
Singh said that presence of such great saints has illuminated the land
of Dongargarh and commencement of Mahotsav on 'Deekshant Diwas' has made
the state of Chhattisgarh proud. On the occasion Chief Minister talked
about special campaign for cow protection and action plan for marking
land for construction of 'gaushala'. Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh also
announced that a square in Naya Raipur will be named in the memory of
Sanyam Swarna Mahotsav organized on 50th anniversary of 'Deeksha Diwas'
of Acharye Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj.

In
the Sanyam Swarna Mahotsav, Union Minister Mr. Rajeev Pratap Rudi said
in his address- I came here from Delhi to take blessings of Jain Muni
Acharya Mr. Vidyasagar ji Maharaj for peace and prosperity of the
nation, on behalf of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Mr. Rudi said
that saints work for human and humanity in a different way than
political leaders. Saints dedicate their entire life in conserving the
human culture, civilization and its dignity. Prime Minister Mr. Modi had
probably got inspiration from teachings of Acharya Vidyasagar ji
Maharaj way before, which is why he started skill development programme
for youth of nation. Mr. Rudi said that under skill development
programme, youth are being provided training to become more employable
so that they may become self-dependent and take care of their family in
dignified manner. He told that during the meeting with Acharya Shri
Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, they discussed about various topics of modern
times and Acharya ji gave serious relevant answers, positive remarks and
suggestions on all those subjects.
In
his address, Union Skill Development Minister (Independent Charge) Mr.
Rajeev Pratap Rudi invited Jain Muni Acharya Mr. Vidyasagar Mr. Maharaj
to visit his home state Bihar. He said that wherever these holy saints
go that land becomes sacred and people there are blessed. Their visit
illuminates the land with positive energy. On behalf of 10 crore people
of Bihar state, Union Minister invited Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji and
his followers to visit Bihar.
On
the occasion, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Gaurishankar Agrawal, Vice-
Chairman of 20-point programme implementation committee Mr. Khubchand
Parakh, MLA Dongargarh Mrs. Sarojini Banjare, Ex-Chairman of Rajgami
Sampada Nyas Mr. Santosh Agrawal, Chairman State Urdu Academy Mr. Akram
Qureshi, Officials of Jain Samaj Sangathan Mr. Ashok Patani, Mr. Prabhat
Jain, Mr. Vinod Jain and large number of people of Jain community were
present.
