Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today visited Surabhi Gau Shala at village Tharkori development block Dhamdha. He said that it is the moral and social responsibility of the society to protect cows. He fed jaggery to calf with his own hands. Cow plays a crucial role from farming to providing milk to human beings in an agriculture based economy like India. Dr. Raman Singh expressed his satisfaction that 250 animals are protected at the Tharkhori Gau Shala with the co-operation of the local citizens. Stray cows are also looked after at the shelter which was started two years ago.. Dr. Raman Singh called upon the citizens to co-operate in safeguarding cow wealth.
