In-charge Chief Secretary Mr. Ajay Singh today presided over a meeting of Flood Control Authority on how to deal with Flood and other natural calamities. Mr. Ajay Singh called upon the concerned department officials to identify the flood-prone regions and open flood control room and give wide publicity . He called upon the Water Resources, Health, Public Health Engineering, Public Works, Food and Civil Supplies, Nagar Sena and Urban Administration to gear up the administration to full preparedness. Revenue Department Principal Secretary Mrs. Renu Pillai gave a detailed presentation of preparedness in the flood-prone areas of the State.
