Raipur, 12 May 2017
State Government has provided revised administrative sanction of Rs 11 crore 20 lakh for Chakravaay (Tuma) anicut on Shivnath River in Bemetara block of Bemetara district. Completion of this scheme will provide irrigation facility for 40 hectare area from farmers' own resources and also enable groundwater augmentation. Order in the context has been issued by Water Resource Department from Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan).
