'Lok Suraj' should be emulated by all States, says Union Minister

Union Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare Mr. Vijay Goel today said that nation had attained greater heights under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in a short span of three years. Just like Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi united the nation by eradicating untouchability and class differences Mr. Modi's 'Sub Ka Saat-Sub Ka Vikaas' had been taking the entire nation towards the path of economic freedom.
Mr. Goel was addressing a 'samaaroh' organized by the State Government and District administration here. Mahatma Gandhi stressed upon the 'Swachhta' in every village, street and city. Mr. Narendra Modi followed the hoary traditions and had taken the mission to all nooks and corners of the nation.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh presided over the function organized to mark the completion of three years of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's rule. Materials and cheques were distributed to the beneficiaries of various schemes of Prime minister. Mr. Goel said that Dr. Raman Singh's 'Lok Suraaj' mission should be emulated by all States. He said that Chief Minister had been working relentlessly in ameliorating the masses from poverty and other issues.
Union Minister said that Mr. Modi is determined to get rid of corruption and black money. Demonetization was a historic decision in that direction and the entire nation supported the step. Multiple raids are being conducted against corrupt people all over the country. Mr. Goel said that five crore women will be allocated domestic gas connections soon. Crops' Insurance Scheme, Soil Health Card, Irrigation projects and Digital India are some of the several projects launched.
Dr. Raman Singh said that Mr. Narendra Modi had given a new direction to the entire country. He added that 26 May 2014 was a historic day on which Mr. Modi took over the reigns of the country. He roused the self-respect of the countrymen. Fresh air of enthusiasm is blowing across the country. A son of poor couple is Prime Minister of India. He feels the sufferings of poor and decided to launch various social welfare projects for them. Dr. Raman Singh said that 11 lakh families had been provided with domestic gas connections in the State under the Prime Minister 'Ujjwala' project. The State Government and Central Government are providing subsidy Rs 1800 each to the consumers. Beneficiary just gives Rs 200 as registration amount out of which Rs 160 is returned back to the consumer.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said the share of States in Central revenue had been increased from 32 per cent to 42 per cent. He said that 45 lakh citizens will be provided with Smart phones as a part of Information Revolution. The medical insurance had been increased to Rs 50 thousand under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme.
Agriculture Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal said that the schemes introduced by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi are being speedily implemented in the State. MP Mr. Ramesh Bais, School Education Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Labour Minister Mr. Bhaiyyalal Rajwade, Forest Minister Mr. Mahesh Gaagda, Food Minister Mr. Punnula Mohale, Public Works Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat, Women and Child Developemnt Minister Mr. Ramsheela Sahu, MP Mr. Ramvichar Netam, several prominent citizens and beneficiaries of various schemes were also present. Mr. Vijay Goel launched the State Directorate of Pubic Relations 'coffee table' book and 'Chhattisgarh Sandarbh' 2017 listing the achievements of State Government.
