Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar today
attended the redressal camp of gram panchayat Korra in Kurud block under Lok
Suraaj Abhiyan. Mr. Chandrakar said that to ensure effectiveness of rural
development schemes in reality, we need to make necessary changes along with
innovation. Only then our villages, society and family will prosper. On the
occasion, he inaugurated the Atal commercial complex and school building worth
nearly Rs one crore five lakh. This includes Atal commercial complex built at
the cost of Rs eight lakh 92 thousand and newly-built Higher Secondary School
worth nearly Rs 96 lakh. In this redressal camp, Dhamtari Jila Panchayat
President Mr. Raghunandan Sahu, Kurud Janpad Panchayat President Mrs. Poornima
Sahu, Vice-President Mr. Chhatrapal Bais and a large number of villagers were
also present.
Mr.
Chandrakar reviewed the redressal of applications related to Revenue, PHE,
Energy, Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, Clean India Mission,
Health, Agriculture, Livestock Development, Horticulture, Women and Child
Development, Labour and Water Resource Department. Officials informed that
total 1894 applications have been received in Korra cluster, out of which 1891
applications have been redressed in the redressal camps. This included 1860
applications related to demands and 31 complaints. Panchayat and Rural
Development Department received maximum number of applications i.e. 1266.
Likewise, 218 applications related to Social Welfare Department, 89
applications related to Food Department, 36 applications related to Clean India
Mission, 24 applications of PHE, 23 of Veterinary Department and 21
applications related to Electricity Department were received.
