The State
Government has allocated Rs 39 crore 37 lakh 57 thousand for Karra
diversion and Jhipania reservoir repairs and lining at Development block
Saja district Bemetara. An amount of Rs 13 crore 93 lakh 19 thousand
was allotted to Karra diversion -lining and repair works, Rs 12 crore 99
lakh 35 thousand for Jhipania reservoir repair works . Additional one
thousand 914 hectare land will be brought under cultivation after the
canal repair works is completed. The Water Resources Department issued a
circular to this effect at Mantralaya .
