Newly-appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Yoga Commission Mr. Sanjay Agrawal today paid courtesy call on Governor Mr. Balramji Das Tandon. Governor extended hearty wishes to Mr. Agrawal for promotion of Yoga.
Mr. Agrawal informed that on the occasion of International Yoga Day, more than 50 lakh people came together to perform Yoga. This record has made it to the Golden Book of World Records. Mr. Agrawal informed that the commission would public booklets related to yoga asanas and pranayams as cure for various diseases. Separate curriculum will be designed for the schools. Yoga training programmes will be conducted from state-level to village-level.
