The State
Government under the Public Distribution System allocated 48 thousand
023 quintal grams to the fair price shops in the notified areas of 19
districts. The Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department
officials said that each ration card holder is distributed two kilo
grams at Rs Five a kg. Bastar district was allocated three thousand 613
quintal, Bijapur district one thousand 197 quintal, South Bastar (
Dantewada) district one thousand 415 quintal, North Bastar ( Kanker)
district three thousand 113 quintal, Kondagaon district two thousand
two thousand 500 quintal, Narayanpur district 588 quintal, Sukma
district one thousand 502 quintal, Korba district four thousand 844
quintal, Surguja district four thousand 379 quintal, Jashpur district
three thousand 909 quintal, Surajpur district three thousand 843
quintal, Balrampur- Ramanujganj district three thousand 355 quintal,
Raigarh district three thousand 299 quintal, Bilaspur district three
thousand 185 quintal, Korea district two thousand 840 quintal,
Gariyaband district one thousand 913 quintal, Rajnandgaon district one
thousand 153 quintal, Dhamtari district 797 quintal and Balod district
579 quintal.
