Participates in Buddha Poornima Samaroh in capital

Agriculture Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal on Wednesday participated in a Buddha Poornima function at Buddha Vihar in the capital. The Minister called upon the citizens to imbibe the teachings of Lord Buddha in their lives as the world needed peace and brotherhood. Hindus and Buddhist communities worship Bhagwan Buddha. Mr. Agrawal lit a candle at the statue of Bhagwan Buddha and worshipped the deity. He inaugurated a library also at Buddha Vihar.
Agriculture Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal said that Karmabhoomi of Bhagwan Buddha was Hindusthan. He was reincarnation of God. He added that the preaching of Lord Buddha had been extensively taught and the birth of Buddhism had been Hindustan. India has friendly relations with all the nations who follow Buddhist religion. There is a deep bonding with these countries. All religions teach us protect the weaker sections of the society. MLA Mr. Sreechand Sundrani, Trisharan Vikaas Samiti Chairperson Mr. T.L. Ingle and a large number of devotees were also present.
