Minister sanctions solar pumps, bridge, roads

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today
landed at village Sirri Development block Paamgarh district Janjgir-Champa as a
part of 'Lok Suraaj' Mission. He conducted 'choupal' and listened patiently to
the grievances of the villagers. He
sanctioned solar energy-based irrigation pumps to ten farmers. He instructed
the Tehsildar to conduct a camp on 18 May to settle the revenue related
problems of the locals.
Chief Minister Dr.
Raman Singh elicitated details regarding
functioning of village school, anganwadi, presence of teachers and students on
time at schools, mid-day meals, domestic gas connections. On the requests of
the gathering he sanctioned deepening of the dam and widening of the canal. Dr.
Raman Singh allocated Rs 10 lakh for construction of a bridge on Sirri canal,
cement concrete roads at Sirri and construction of sheds at Muktidham. He
allocated an extra room at the Sub-Health Centre at Sirri. He called upon the
locals to construct toilets as early as possible . Parliamentary Secretary Mr.
Ambesh Jaangde, Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand, Joint Secretary to Chief
Minister Mr. Rajat Kumar, Collector Dr. Bharati Dasan and sveral villagers were
present.
