Chief Minister calls upon Japanese to invest in Chhattisgarh : Japanese work culture and humility inspiring: Dr. Raman Singh

 Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today invited the Japanese industrialists and investors to look at Chhattisgarh for making large-scale investments. He was addressing a Investors' Conference organized by  Confederation of Indian Industries (C.I.I.) at Osaka.  Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi  gave  a clarion call of 'Make In India'. He called upon the Japanese industrialists to visit India and invest in Chhattisgarh. The cultural ties between India and Japan go back to thousands of years. The relationship between India and Japan had attained greater heights after the assumption to power of Mr. Narendra Modi. Tokyo and Varanasi are marching ahead simultaneously.
Dr. Raman Sing added that Japan is identified with high quality, technical excellence, innovation in India. He said India is racing ahead in infrastructure sector under the able guidance of Mr. Modi. Chief Minister appreciated Japanese work culture and humility. Indians can learn so much from that nation. The eternal success of the country had attracted Indians. He said that he is impressed with the warm reception in Osaka.
Chief Minister appreciated that it was the first conference of its kind on Chhattisgarh in Japan. Just as Chhattisgarh is coined as 'Rice Bowl of India' similarly Osaka is recognized as the main centre of rice trade in Japan  and also coined as 'Kitchen of Japan'. Dr. Raman Singh said that he was proud that he was representing India and just a week back Mr. Modi celebrated three glorious years in office. India is the only nation in the world which demonetized 86 per cent of its currency notes. The nation is implementing One Nation One Tax One Market -G.S.T. -soon. He gave a detailed presentation of various investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
Dr. Raman Singh said that Chhattisgarh was carved out in the year 2000. It is a new State. Youthful with full of energy, stamina and unlimited potential. It is a rapidly developing State in the entire country. Dr. Raman Singh said that Chhattisgarh is heaven in India as far as natural scenario is concerned. There are immense mineral resources, abundant water, skilled human resources and  fertile land. Steel, cement, aluminium  and electricity plants had attained huge success in the State. The main focus is on non-core fields- Information Technology, Electronics, solar energy and automobiles. World-class infrastructure is being built. Dr. Raman Singh revealed that according to World Bank report Chhattisgarh is among the top five states in 'Ease of Doing Business' category. There are several reforms in the industrial sector.
Dr. Raman Singh added that 'Smart City' concept is implemented speedily.    Railway tracks are being laid very fast. Double the tracks will be laid in the next five years when compared to the last 150 years. The Bhilai Steel Plant manufactures steel and railway tracks not only for India but for many countries in the globe. Members of  Japan Foreign Business Organization (JETRO), Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Japan and representatives of Japan-based Industries organizations were also present. Dr. Raman Singh also met  famous electric motor producer  N.I.D.E.C. board member Mr. Rayuchi Tanbe.
